What I’m up to right now…

I’m performing at the Pleasant Hill Baptist Church under the direction of Dennis Montgomery III every Sunday and I’m looking forward to our Christmas services.

We had a great run of holiday shows in Naples, Florida with the Naples Brass ensemble performing some truly beautiful churches and concert venues.

This was a busy year at Maritime Music Studio with some excellent projects. I recorded a major audiobook - Rich Benoit’s Going Fast and Fixing Things. I’ve played on a bunch of tracks and recorded many more and we made a fantastic new jazz album with Timo Shanko and Jim Hobbs.

I’m actively working on ROJI Volume 2 and it’s coming together quite nicely.

My fiancee Scarlett and I are performing as our jazz duo Giullietta. I’m finally memorizing lots of standards thanks to the opportunity to play with Scarlett.

I taught at Salem Public Schools in partnership with Lynn Music Foundation.

Scarlett and I are taught several Intro to Songwriting Workshops. We received a grant from the Peabody Cultural Council to offer some of our programming for free to local residents.

The release of ROJI Vol. 1: The Gunman of Silver City has been incredibly encouraging and rewarding. I’m so glad to have this music and artwork out now. You can check it out here.

Quinn, Alexa, and I had a great first comic convention debut with ROJI. We’re looking forward to many more cons. Look for our Pulp & Fizz booth where we will have ROJI Musicomics and rare Pokemon cards.

Playing some great shows with Duppy Conquerors and The Attractors.

Plus I’m working on my Pirate Music Theory book and if you’d be interested in helping me proofread and come up with ideas for the book, you can participate in the beta program by signing up by clicking here.
